Eames ESU 1x2 Project
It has been a while since I updated the blog, but here is an ESU I built this week. I used leftover screws from a vintage DCW. I promise to update more often!

Tiffany China / Eames
I don't usually mess around with glassware/china (too much to break), but made an exception for a friend. The previous owner of this set was an executive for the Pennsylvania Railroad, a quite appealing group.
Three Eames chairs! The red DCW has been on the blog before, but now I have a Ca. 2000 LCW and quite early DCW Black. It has the 5-2-5 screw pattern on the bottom.

Circa 1954 Eames Side Shell Chair
This beautiful grey-blue Eames Side Shell Chair was produced around 1954, and predates the rope-edge zenith production. Additionally, this incredibly rare chair is so early that it has no embossing and a chrome plated steel x-base. The "Shipped From Venice" label is among the hardest to find, and appeared on all chairs shipped from the Eames Office at 901 Washington Boulevard.

Jens Risom Bench and Risom Style Desk Chair
Jens Risom is one of my all-time favorites. At 93 he is one of the last important mid-century designers still with us. Perhaps more impressive, Jens has continued practicing his trade. Recently, Design Within Reach released a new Risom line.
This little desk chair is quite sturdy and rather comfortable. The Risom bench is perhaps his Jens' most famous and desirable creation. This beauty has been completely redone.
